Sagittaria Fountain
A recent design of copper fountain based on the spectacular Sagittaria water plant. The spear shaped leaves, with characteristic ribbing, are hand beaten to shape and silver brazed to slender curved stems, cloaked at their bases. Water wells up in the higher leaves and drips or streams from leaf to leaf before falling in the pool. It makes a light splashing sound, which can be increased by adjusting the flow, if desired.
It is suitable as a garden fountain, or for a courtyard. A larger version would be suitable for a public space.
95 cm high: £3,860
