A new Fountain design, made in 2008, based on the dramatic Thalia water plant. The spear shaped ribbbed leaves are beaten to shape and rise from long slender stems.
The whole plant has a multitude of leaves at different levels, forming a crown-shaped sculpture. Water is projected up each leaf and falls back, rippling over the leaf ribs, eventually falling into the pool below, to make a musical splashing sound . Light catches in the water on each leaf and on the falling water droplets.
The fountain, at 180cm high, is suitable for a lake or large pool, either in a garden or a public space. A smaller version would be suitable as a garden fountain.
110cm high: £2650
180cm high: £6270
