This impressive fountain is a new design in 2009, inspired by the Catalpa tree. it has sinuously curved branches and stems reminiscent of early Art Nouveau. Water falls from each of a multitude of large hand-beaten copper leaves, making a splendid musical splashing sound. Light is caught in the many streams and drops of water, completing the overal shape of the sculpture.

 

The fountain, at 180cm high and 180cm wide is suitable for a lake or large pond, either in a garden or in a public space. A smaller version would be suitable as a garden fountain in a large garden.
