This garden fountain is based on the Farfugium plant. The scalloped rounded copper leaves on slender stalks are beaten to shape and form a pleasing overall plant shape. Water wells up in the top leaves and falls from leaf to leaf, eventually dropping into the pond below. It makes a musical splashing sound.
The first example shown here was commissioned for the Botanic Gardens in Singapore.
The fountain is suitable as a garden fountain, or for a courtyard, or corporate setting.
