This unusual design of pond fountain fountain is inspired by the spectacular Sagittaria water plant. The spear shaped copper leaves, with characteristic ribbing, are hand beaten to shape and silver brazed to slender curved stems, cloaked at their bases. Water wells up in the higher leaves and drips or streams from leaf to leaf before falling in the pond below. It makes a light splashing sound, which can be increased by adjusting the flow, if desired.
It is suitable as a pond fountain for a garden, or for a courtyard. A larger version would be suitable for a public space.
