Humphrey Bowden designs and makes unusual copper fountains. They are unique and hand made by beating from pure copper. Each individual design can be commissioned to suit a particular location and to meet the ideas of the client. The quality of their design makes them a piece of sculpture, whether or not water is flowing.

 

 In many cases these fountains are inspired by trees or other plants and they are designed to fit harmoniously into their surroundings. Water streams or drips from the tips of all the leaves, sparkling in the sunlight or if illuminated at night. The water makes a gentle splashing sound, as it drops into the pond below. Alternatively more robust sound can be achieved by adjusting the flow of water.
