Artichoke Fountain

This impressive copper fountain is based on the globe artichoke plant. It has strong spiky hand beaten copper leaves and delicate petalled globe flower heads. Water wells up in the flower heads and runs down the stems, to stream onto the leaves and eventually drip into the pond below. It makes a gentle splashing sound.

 

The fountain would be suitable for a garden, courtyard, or for a corporate atrium. A larger version would be an impressive water feature in a public space.
