Asplenium Fountain for Daily Mail Pavilion

A fountain inspired by the Asplenium, or hart's tongue fern. It was commissioned for a show garden in the Daily Mail Pavilion at Hampton Court (designed by Sally Court)

 Streams of water is projected up the leaves and run rippling down over their ribbed surfaces. Water also pours from the tips of the leaves and falls in curving shapes down to the pond below.

 The long leaves are hand beaten from copper and brazed to their stalks below
